The holidays are over, but I’m still recovering from them. Instead of starting my next piece (which I have planned! It may or may not be another cat), I’ve been showing my partner Dragon Age Origins and making suncatchers. I got some moss agate in, and it’s been a blast to work with. I’m considering making another sun one, this one embracing the Solaire from Dark Souls theme, but connecting all those branches was repetitive and took literal hours. I don’t know, maybe that’s appropriate for something inspired by Dark Souls. Comment below if you think I should grind out another sun.

The layout for my art booth at my most recent market, ArtsGoggle in Fort Worth TX. I sell prints, stickers, bookmarks, and jewelry. The initial intention was to make it feel like a Victorian living room, and I even took the original velvet curtains from my own living room, though I have replaced those with curtains dedicated to the setup. I use natural woods, including sewing machine drawer to hold my prints and an antique printers tray to hold stickers. I hang the framed prints off of hooks and chain from the curtain rods.

Social media is awful and I can’t wait till I can just post on my website’s blog and not have to worry about algorithms. But for now, maybe if I keep trying every platform (except twitter gross) one will eventually stick

I’ve been wanting to make stickers that show my love for uranium glass, so I made glow in the dark stickers showing a few of the patterns found on depression and vaseline glass. This is the Cameo pattern by Hocking Glass (also called Ballerina), Georgian Lovebirds by Federal Glass, and Mermaid Royale Fan by Pukeberg Glass.
